Life is a journey filled with up’s and down’s and it’s important for individuals to have the necessary tools to overcome their obstacles. I am passionate about empowering individuals to realize their true potential by not allowing their past to become a barrier for the possibilities of their future.

Phylicia is a social worker with 8 years of experience working in the Child Welfare and Mental Health Field. This includes work with Veterans, Child Abuse and Neglect, Adoption, and Community Mental Health. She is a proud Alumna of Bethune-Cookman University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and her Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University. Phylicia is a certified Adoption Competency Trainer, Parent Resource Information and Development (P.R.I.D.E) Trainer. She is currently working on her certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Child-Parent Psychotherapy.
